Michael Jackson Tickets - O2 Arena Live Concert - 2009/2010 Tour

Michael Jackson tickets sold more quickly than for any other artist when tickets went on sale as part of the Michael Jackson Tour. Many fans were left frustrated by the huge demand. Fans were invited to register for presale tickets by registering on MichaelJacksonLive.com, but many fans have complained that they had not received e-mails confirming their order. The sheer volume of people wanting to see Jackson is said to be hampering the process. Applications have been received from all over the world by fans desperate to see Jackson on his last ever British tour. Fifty concerts at the O2 Arena had completely sold out as over a quarter of a million people queued online. This was in addition to the hundreds of fans who waited outside the venue to buy tickets. Tickets for the Michael Jackson Concert were selling as fast as eleven per second and have become the fastest selling concert in history. Fans from as far away as Belgium, Japan and even Dubai were clamouring to get their hands on tickets as soon as they went on sale.

Michael Jackson Tickets - Huge Demand

Michael Jackson is delighted with the response and agreed to do further concerts once the level of interest had been known. He has already been rehearsing for the concerts, and is said to be looking very fit, although some are suggesting that he is slightly underweight at the moment, causing some concern regarding his health. With fifty shows to do, Jackson is said to be very much engaged in planning the event. Promoter Randy Phillip said that the demand was so high that they could have been in London for two years, long enough for Jackson to apply for a British passport.

Already tickets for the shows have started to appear on eBay. Tickets bought from the singer's website were on sale for £75, but already they are changing hands for between £170 and £10,000. During the launch for the Michael Jackson Tour, Jackson announced that this would be the last time he would appear live in the United Kingdom.

Michael Jackson Tickets Still Available

During a controversial career, Jackson has won thirteen Grammy awards. He has written some of the most instantly recognisable and influential songs in music history, although his career has been dogged by allegations of inappropriate behaviour, culminating in a globally publicised court case, in which Michael Jackson was acquitted of all charges. The interest and demand for the 50-year old singer shows no signs of waning and, with the 'Thriller' album, Jackson holds the record for the biggest selling album of all time.
