Madonna 'Celebration' Free Music Video

Now in her 50th year, the Queen of Pop, Madonna, is commemorating her long and illustrious career with an album release of all of her greatest hits. Since her first single in 1982, Madonna has been a pop force to be reckoned with as she has created iconic image after iconic image and iconic album after iconic album. Although a figure of controversy - her 'Like A Prayer' video provoked outrage in the Vatican and her S&M 'Sex' book set tongues wagging across the globe - no-one can deny that Madonna is one of the great legends of our era. She is the best-selling female artist of the 20th century and has sold over 200 million albums worldwide. She is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is officially the world's most successful female recording artist of all time according to the Guinness World Records. Madonna is also one of the world's most searched for female recording artists on free music video websites.

Free Music Video - Madonna 'Celebration'

Her latest offering, 'Celebration' shows exactly why she is such a musical legend as it contains all 34 of her main hits as well as new tracks 'Celebration' and 'Revolver'. The title track is a fun dancey upbeat number which has been described by critics as perfectly linking the innocent fun lyrics of her beginnings - songs like 'Holiday', 'Borderline' and 'Get Into The Groove' - with a contemporary dance and electro-pop beat as shown in, but not to the extent of, her recent hits 'Hollywood' and 'Hung Up'. The video is as fun and up-beat as the song and even includes cameos from her boyfriend Jesus Luz and daughter Lourdes dressed in a wedding dress styled like the one Madonna wore in her 'Like A Virgin' video. The video is very much a combination of the present Madonna whilst nodding to her origins and earlier music videos.

In the last few years Madonna has become very reflective on her work and in the early 2000s referred to her on-stage controversial kisses with Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears as her way of passing on the torch to younger pop princesses. However, it seems that the Queen of Pop has found a true Princess of Pop in the form of Lady Gaga, who - similarly to Madonna - has an iconic style, image and sound as well as the driving ambition that Madonna has shown throughout her career. A rare appearance on Saturday Night Live for Madonna seemed to seal the deal of her friendship with Lady Gaga as they joked about rivalry and pop music, even having a mock physical fight! However, Lady Gaga later revealed that she was in total awe of Madonna and was overwhelmed by her iconic status.

'Celebration' the album promises to be a real treat as it showcases all 34 of the Queen of Pop's hit singles.
